Reading/Writing Combined Club (Gr. 9-10)

Service Description

Objectives in the class are a combination of the separate reading and writing classes we've had. We'll be working on in-depth reading of TWO chosen books, including understanding, discussing, and analyzing the ideas and themes of each book, the characters and their motivations, and the writing techniques used. As we finish the book, we'll be crafting a solid essay about a deep aspect of the book we've read. This will include discussion/feedback on the students' essays: reviewing their organizational structure, logic flow, and use of concise/clear writing.
